Baumalight Skidsteer brush mulchers are highly effective for mulching heavy brush and small trees, offering various types of teeth to suit different needs. The Planer-style teeth take smaller bites for efficient cutting and mulching, while the Ripper-style teeth shred more aggressively. The Ripper teeth feature a v-shaped design, making them more resistant to impacts from hard objects like stones, making them ideal for below-grade mulching and working along fence lines. The 500, 700, 900, and 1100 series skid steer mulchers include pressure gauges, which are very useful for monitoring how close you are to maximum pressure. Exceeding relief pressure can make the mulcher significantly less productive as you wait for the rotor speed to build up after stalling.
Chain Curtain
The back of the unit is protected by a 3/8” thick chain curtain, allowing standing brush to enter and mulched debris to exit.
Powdered Coated
Our powder coat finish is much tougher than conventional paint to stand up to the rigors of mulching and helps prevent rusting.
STEP GRIP IN FRAME
The powder coated frame has multiple anti-slip pads and laser cut steps, giving the operator a secure footing for easy entry and exit from the cab.
BITE LIMITING ROTOR FOR 11000 SERIES teeth
The Depth Control on the Baumalight 11000 series mulchers enhances the efficiency of land-clearing tasks. These mulcher rotors are designed to regulate the bite depth and guide material flow, ensuring optimal performance with reduced stalling. This allows for consistent particle size, faster cutting, and improved fuel efficiency. The helical teeth arrangement efficiently directs material toward the drum’s center, while the depth control rings ensure the best possible infeed.
**New to the 1400 MS series
The 1400 series dual-tooth design is the first of its kind in the Baumalight mulcher offering and possibly first on the market, blending efficient cutting with ground-contact durability for top-notch performance. The rotor is equipped with both P11000 and R9000 teeth. Fourteen P11000 planer-style teeth are mounted in the center section, providing efficient cutting in the middle where trees are usually taken down. The other 24 R9000 ripper teeth are placed toward the sides to tackle tougher material and withstand impacts with rocks in areas where stones are harder to see.
